These Deck Board Spacers from Hillman are made to ensure uniform spacing between deck boards, and to align deck screws during construction. Straight, consistent spacing results in a professional-looking finish, and allows water and debris to fall through the deck surface. Each t-shaped Deck Spacer offers the most common gap dimensions in deck construction (1/16", 1/8", 3/16", and 1/4"). Just slip the appropriately marked tab between the boards, then drive in deck screws at the notches for perfect spacing every time. Works with both treated lumber and composite decking.
