See our ad for just the kit in our store) We custom make each Ladder from pines we harvest right here in Michigan! We call it a Stair/Ladder because it feels like a stairway & costs like a ladder. HOW TO ORDER:Figure on one step per foot! Measure STRAIGHT UP and then round UP to the next foot.This includes sanding and finishing. Our default finish is All-Natural Clear Bulls Eye Shellac. Do you want a special paint/stain? Just order an extra foot and we will buy the brand/tint you want and apply it for you.Add an extra foot for each handrail. Most people feel "safe" w/o them. We also make "Grab-Bars" for you to install at the top for that awkward-turn-around-and-come-down moment. Do you like the "STAND-UP ---> PULL-OUT" option? Click on the "Type" and select "Library Ladder" Our ladders feel like a stairway because we make each step the same - top to bottom. You tell us the total rise (straight up from finished-floor-to-finished-floor) and, if you want, we can figure out the best rise and run and tell you the feet to order. LIBRARY LADDER KIT:Our Library ladder kit allows you to stand the ladder upright, as well as, to slide side to side. Add another step.Comes with: > any length pipe (bar can be up to the length of the ladder) and fittings > two wrought-iron open "J" brackets for easy removal, or "C" brackets (not easily removable) > 3/8" thick industrial brown felt (no bottom casters necessary) > lags and a driver for mounting (all you need is a cordless drill/driver) LIBRARY LADDER HARDWARE ONLY:Our Library ladder kits are such a hit, we allow you to just order the hardware for your own ladder. Kit comes with: > two wrought-iron brackets > 3/8" thick industrial brown felt (no bottom casters necessary) > lags and a driver for mounting (all you need is a cordless drill/driver) SHIPPING & HANDLING: We ship fully assembled (truck freight). The trucking company calls you when it arrives in your local freight terminal. The best is to go and pick it up there. Second best is to ship to a 9-to-5 business. No appointment necessary. For extra we can have it sent to a residence. Some remote locations even have more fees. Send us your delivery address (click "Contact Seller" upper right) for a quote. WHAT WE NEED: 1.
